- Company And Brand Of The Product : Survey on the market trend; what product of what company is leading and why. What are the trends, durability and promises or commitments made by product or its company? Buy certified products from recognized company only. Jaago grahak jaago!
- Packing Seal : Before buying anything, you should confirm that the product is properly packed and locked with the respective company’s seal. If there is any hole or the packing is stale or re-packed or open, then do not buy that product and immediately bring the matter into the knowledge of its distributor. Jaago grahak jaago!
- Manufacturing and Expiry Date : People often end up noticing the expiry date, however manufacturing date is also an important point to consider. Jaago grahak jaago!
- MRP : MRP is maximum retail price of a product set by the company of that product. That means either at lesser amount or at exact MRP value. Anything sold above ends up at the wrong side of the law. Jaago grahak jaago!
- Discount : From medicines to soft drink, companies give good margin to retailers and distributors, so it’s consumer’s right to ask for the price cut. Sometimes companies give some offers for the consumers, but retailers do not give it to us. Jaago grahak jaago!
- Quantity and Quality : Check the quantity of the product. Is it underweight or over weight? the weight includes the product’s weight or packing weight also? Jaago grahak jaago!
- Customer Care No. : Every product has customer care or complaint number in one of the corner of its packing. Always check it and reply if you are not satisfied. Jaago grahak jaago!
- Retailer or Distributor : Product reliability depends on the place you are buying it. Go to authentic retailers to minimize the risk of cheating. Jaago grahak jaago!

Jaago Grahak Jaago!
We have heard and seen this tagline several times on TVs and hoardings by way of advertisements. And many of us must have thought that "Our Government just speaks but don't care about implementing or even monitoring."
Given the level of corruption in our society, many of us have no faith in Government. And really don't give them a chance. Any initiative taken by the Government is simply discarded by making a statement, many of us would be familiar with -
"India mein ye sab successful nahi ho sakta..."
High time, we should start believing in our Government and give them a chance.
Hereby, I am sharing with you the helpline numbers so that we start waking up to the cruelities we face as consumers. This is one such initiative taken by our Government. Whats the quality of the services provided by this helpline are yet to be discovered.
